Job Summary
The Collections team at Aquarion is looking for an intern! The intern will be responsible for the returned mail, which would include; filtering through spreadsheets, bringing up accounts in CRM, checking the history and utilizing our resources to get accurate contact information call and correct the address. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in credit control and financial operations.
Principal Responsibilities
- Assist with tracking overdue accounts and sending payment reminders
- Support communication with clients regarding outstanding balances
- Update and maintain accurate records in the collections database
- Help prepare reports for the collections team
- Provide administrative support as needed
Preferred Requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel – Pivots Tables, Sort & Filter data a PLUS!
- Adept attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Effective time management skills with the ability to work on multiple tasks at a given time
- Dependable, professional, and motivated
- Able to work independently based on periodic guidance and direction
Education/Certifications
- Must be in the process of completing a bachelor's degree, preferably in business, finance, or related field.
Salary
- The internship will run from mid-May through end of August, 40 hours a week (on-site).
- Intern will report to our Monroe office.
- Hours will be 8:00AM to 4:30PM, Monday through Friday (flexible).
- This position will pay $17.00 an hour.
