Job Summary

The Cross Connection Department is looking for an intern!

Principal Responsibilities

  • Offer support to contractors to ensure test reports are input in a timely manner.
  • Support to field techs regarding adding/deleting equipment.
  • Assist with hydrant rig rental program- complete permits, accept payment from customers, schedule pickup and return appointments.
  • Assist Distribution as needed.

Education/Certifications

  • Must possess a valid state driver’s license.

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.

  • Must be able to work independently, thoroughly, and safely, applying training given.

  • Basic computer skills - desktop knowledge and good typing.

  • Intern must be enrolled in an accredited college program.

  • Individual must be a highly motivated, self starter who can work with minimal supervision.

  • Computer literate.

  • Ability to multi-task.

  • Organized.

  • Excellent problem solving & critical decision making skills.

Salary

  • This position will run from mid-May through the end of August. 

  • Intern will report to our Bridgeport location.

  • Full-time (30 hours) is preferred.

  • Intern will be expected to work from 8:00AM-3:00PM.

  • This role will pay $17.00 an hour.
