Aquarion Water Company of CT is looking for 4 safety conscious drivers to participate in the Aquarion 2022 Irrigation Demand Management program. 

 

The demand management program runs from April 25 to September 30, during the busiest time of the company’s conservation program, however those who can only work during the summer months are encouraged to apply.  Drivers will safely drive a Company vehicle and use an Aquarion phone and ‘app’ to document properties that are using irrigation systems outside of the twice-weekly schedule. Patrolling is three days each week, Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays for four hours each day (6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.).  Drivers will be dispatched to specific areas including:

 

•    Simsbury, Granby, East Granby
•    Westport, Fairfield, Newtown
•    Stamford, New Canaan

 

Drivers must be 21 years of age or older, and the successful completion of pre-employment physical, drug screen, background check and license check are required.  The Driver must be safety conscious, have a valid driver license, and be comfortable taking pictures with a phone app.  Training will be provided.
 

Aquarion requires all new employees to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 by their first day of employment.
