The Collections Supervisor reports to the Manager, Collections and is responsible for the daily operations of the Collections Department.  Responsibilities include training, coaching, and developing staff within area of responsibility to ensure quality service delivery expectations are met.  

 

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES & ACTIVITIES:

•    Supervise Collections Department employees; participate in the recruiting, hiring, training, mentoring and development of staff.
•    Monitor team’s daily performance, keeping them informed, and act as needed to align KPI’s. 
•    Ensure timely and accurate review of notifications and scheduling of dunning.
•    Schedule and organize workflow of collections representatives to ensure timely collections and problem resolution.
•    Establish and maintain work standards for quality and quantity of work.
•    Assign or handle customer escalations when customer requests supervisory review or those made in writing.
•    Manage large debtor accounts and municipal accounts to expedite outbound calls.
•    Manage vacation calendar and approve timesheets.
•    Maintain familiarity and compliance with applicable PURA regulations, state and local statutes and Company regulations and policy.
•    Work with service supervisors to ensure timely completion and follow up of all notifications.
•    Review monthly reports and work with Manager Collections on metrics reporting (KPI’s) and evaluating areas for improvement.
•    Identify and implement opportunities for improving collections processes.  
•    Other duties as assigned

 

Applicant must have a minimum of 5+ years collections experience in a leadership role, Bachelor Degree required.  Must be proficient in SAP: ECC and CRM, Business Objects, Word, and Excel.  Excellent interpersonal communications skills, both oral and written, also required.  

 

After 3 months of successful employment, this role will be eligible for a hybrid schedule (3 days office/2 days remote).

 

Job is classified as an exempt position with an annual salary range of $70,640 to $88,300(for a fully functioning and experienced candidate)
